This academy was established on May 22, 1998. It is the first musical academy in cyberspace. It was developed by the first composer in residence at this academy.

Canadian Composer / Psychophysicist

R. Gary Walker

R. Gary Walker studied composition, music theory and piano keyboard techniques at the University of Regina.

His piano teacher had studied with a piano player who had studied with a student of Chopin.

He became interested in the concept of piano technique and continued to explore the scientific aspects of music.

This led him to the study of the mind in relation to music and why every human being likes some form of music.

With further studies in Psychophysical Analysis he proceeded to combine elements of scientific findings and why the mind finds anything and came to the conclusion that the mind and music are soothing increments that human behavior can become dependent upon.

He is now involved in composing new compositions for artists who commission a work and he is writing a book on the Psychophysics Of Human Existence.

He is also the Executive Producer for the record label known as "WalkRock Entertainment". Gary has recently completed his first CD project for the Moose Jaw rock band SouthSide Rockers

He is also in the process of creating a new virtually real heavy metal rock band known as AZZ IFF
