The piano keyboard is used with a number of instruments such as the grand piano, electric piano, organ, accordion and the synthesizer.

Over the years since the change from the pluck of the string like in a harpsichord to the use of a hammer striking the string like in the modern piano, composers and musicians have been perfecting the art of playing a piano keyboard.

Presented here are the techniques of the masters in combination with the individual student in order to find the most ideal playing technique for that individual.
